When you get home from work, are you ravenous for food when you get in the door? I am, and when I’m tired and hungry, it can be hard to find something healthy and fast.
But, I’ve found something that works for me and I wanted to share. I pick up a bag of baby carrots and hummus whenever I go to the grocery store. So when I’m hungry and need something fast, I just take a handful of carrots and dip them in the hummus. Its healthy, fast, and satisfying. The good fats in hummus help me avoid overeating at dinner. What do I love most about this snack? It takes zero effort. No chopping, cleaning, or preparation.

My favorite brand: Sabra’s Hummus with Roasted Pine Nuts
