Self Magazine wrote a great tip for how to get the best benefit from drinking green tea. A study from Purdue University in Indiana found that lemon juice can protect the cancer-fighting antioxidants in green tea (catechins). Lemon protects the chemicals so there are more of them for your body to absorb. Next time you make a fresh cup of tea, squeeze a little lemon in there to reap the anticancer benefits.
